The music video for the original song "Tears" by Robert Toms. Tears is a story of the LGBTQ+ journey through the eyes of the character PRIDE BIRD.
Director's Statement: Writing a bio tends to be a bit self-indulgent and not one of my favorite things. I do think it is important when we hold a public position and folks want to know who you are. So here it goes.
I have been working in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. I have been acting on stage, in films, producing live concerts, and hosting live events since I was 20 years old.
My love of entertainment started when I was very young, I had an incredible fascination with television. I remember watching my favorite television shows with my mom. Sitcoms were my
go-to entertainment. I found comedy to be medicine for the soul. My favorite sitcom of all time is The Golden Girls. I love
those ladies, they helped raise me.
I owned and operated the Nightclub/Theater 135 PEARL, in Burlington, Vermont for over 17 years. In that time, I was exposed to the world of live music, DJs, and theater. I was part of a very powerful Arts and LGBTQ+ community. I have been supporting nonprofit theater and LGBTQ+ organizations since 1993.
